About Us
C_Quebe Suicide Awareness Foundation was created in honor of Christopher Carrera and out of a deep commitment to help others who are struggling with mental health challenges, grief, trauma, and suicide loss.
After losing Christopher to suicide, our founder, Susana Carrera, turned personal pain into purpose by creating C_Quebe as a space for connection, healing, and hope. We believe no one should have to suffer in silence or heal alone.
Our mission is to bring community connection through outreach, wellness experiences, supportive events, and honest conversations that remind people they are seen, valued, and not alone.
At C_Quebe, we are committed to breaking stigma, creating safe spaces, and helping people find hope, healing, and support in life’s hardest moments.

Because too many lives are lost before the conversation ever begins
To create spaces where people can be real without fear.
Where they can say, “I’m not okay,” and not feel judged or alone. Where connection replaces isolation.
Because healing doesn’t start in crisis.
It starts in conversation.
In community.
In someone finally feeling seen.
This is for my son.
This is for every life we’ve lost.
And this is for the ones we can still reach before it’s too late.
